1. Introduction
Welcome to Ambivator ("we," "our," or "us"). We build tools designed to help ambitious people make decisions, organize thoughts, and build daily momentum.
Your trust is our most valuable asset. Because our platform involves processing your thoughts, ideas, and goals, we are committed to absolute transparency regarding how we handle, secure, and process your data. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private brain dumps to train public foundation AI models.
2. Information We Collect
To provide the services on ambivator.com, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. This is handled securely through our database and authentication provider.
- User-Generated Content: We store the information you submit directly, including brain dumps, structured thoughts, daily checklists, goals, and history items.
- Usage Data: We may collect technical logs and basic interaction data (such as page views or feature usage) to improve performance, debug issues, and refine the application experience.
3. How Your Data is Used & Processed
We process your information in the following ways to deliver the Ambivator service:
- AI Organization: Our system processes your raw brain dumps using advanced Artificial Intelligence models (such as Google Gemini and OpenAI APIs) to analyze, structure, and prioritize your thoughts into clear, executable steps.
- Strict AI Privacy:Any text sent to third-party AI APIs is transmitted securely via SSL. We choose enterprise/API terms of service which guarantee that your inputs are not retained or used to train or improve the provider's public models.
- No Selling of Data: We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data or user-generated thoughts to brokers, advertisers, or any other third parties.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on trusted modern cloud infrastructure to run Ambivator. The primary services we use include:
Supabase
Used for secure database hosting, user authentication, and encrypted data storage. Your profile and raw entries are stored in our secure database managed by Supabase.
AI Processing Partners
Used temporarily to perform semantic extraction and priority structuring on your raw brain dumps. We use enterprise-grade APIs with zero-data-retention agreements for model training.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your raw thoughts and personal information very seriously:
- All data transmission between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS).
- Databases are encrypted at rest, and strict row-level security (RLS) rules are configured so that only you can query, read, or write your own entries.
- We employ secure authentication patterns including modern token-based auth to protect your account.
6. Cookies & Browser Storage
Ambivator uses standard cookies and browser local storage to maintain session states. These cookies are strictly essential for core site functionality (such as keeping you logged in). We do not load third-party marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights & Data Erasure
You own your data. You can exercise full control over your information at any time:
- Access and Export: You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can choose to delete individual entries, or delete your entire account and all associated brain dumps permanently. Upon request, we will expunge all your data from our active databases and backup logs.
To request a complete account deletion, please email us directly at support@ambivator.com.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make updates, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
